• They should come from a family with an income of less than INR 8,00,000 per annum.
• Is applicable for masters or Ph.D. courses.

This scholarship is open to Indians with outstanding academic records who want to pursue a master’s degree in the US. The fields of study covered under the scholarship include Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies; Environmental Science/Studies; International Affairs; Public Health; Women’s Study; International Legal Studies; Urban and Regional Planning; Economics; Journalism; Mass Communication and Public Administration. They are fully funded by the Indian Government. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Should have a US bachelor’s degree or an equivalent from a recognized university in India with at least 55% marks. The bachelor’s degree should be a 4-year program or the candidate should have a master’s degree or postgraduate diploma.
• Should have at least 3 years of work experience and are committed to coming back to India and their communities.
• Must not have another degree from a university in the US.

THE INLAKS SHIVDASANI SCHOLARSHIPS

Inlaks scholarship is granted to young students from India who wants to study in top universities in the US, European, and the UK for a full-time master’s, M Phil, or doctorate program. Inlaks Scholarship is granted to students for pursuing a Master’s, M.Phill, or a Doctorate program in all fields except Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Public Health, Business Studies, and Fashion Design. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Should be an Indian resident for the past 6 months.
• For Mathematics, Environment and related subjects the minimum academic grade should be 70% or CGPA 7.2 or GPA 2.8 from a renowned university.
• For Humanities, law, fine arts, architecture, social science, and related subjects, the minimum academic percentage should be 65% or GPA 2.6 from a recognized university.

Scholarship Inclusions 

• Full tuition fee, adequate living expenses, health allowance, and one-way travel allowance.
• Maximum funding is USD 10,000.

ERASMUS MUNDUS SCHOLARSHIP 

Different scholarships are for students from different target groups and mobility types and with their own eligibility. These are fully funded scholarships for Indian students 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Should be a resident or permanent citizen of India.
• Should not have resided, studied, or worked for a total of 12 months in the last five years in any of the eligible nations in Europe after submitting the application.
• Should belong to one of the target groups. (TG1, TG2, and TG3).TG1 applicants can only apply for exchange programs. TG2 can apply for full degree programs, and TG3 applicants can only apply for full degree programs at master’s and doctorate levels.

GREAT SCHOLARSHIPS INDIA 

A total of 20 scholarships are offered by UK universities across a wide range of subjects for Indian students. These scholarships are funded by the GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council with participating UK universities. These scholarships are fully funded for Indian students.  

Eligibility Criteria 

• Should be an Indian citizen.
• Should have an undergraduate degree with interest in the proposed subject area.
• Should meet English language requirements determined by the UK university.
• Should be a GREAT scholarship alumnus

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIP

This is an international scholarship for Indian students. These are offered to Indian students from across the commonwealth who otherwise cannot afford to study abroad. It is offered to talented students who can make a positive impact on a global level. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Should be a citizen or permanent resident of a country of the Commonwealth. A refugee or British-protected person can also apply.
